In a nutshell, what is 'A Course in Self' all about?
'A Course in Self' takes you on a journey within that deepens presence, inner peace and freedom. In other words, the Course opens the window to your Soul/Spirit – your Higher Self. The primary focus is to help transform negative energy, and transcend the ego, so life becomes more soulful – like a meditation in motion. The concepts and techniques are simple to understand and practice, and can be weaved into your everyday life experiences.
What if I've never meditated or follow a different meditation practice?
It doesn’t matter. You can still benefit. What's offered throughout the course are contemplations for inner reflection. It’s therefore important that you come with an open mind, and a strong intention and willingness to grow and expand.
How much time must I spend each day to benefit from the Course?
The time you spend each day depends on how deeply you want to get to know yourself. However, investing as little as 20-30 minutes a day in your own well-being is good. The time invested works best when it’s consistent but not overwhelming.
Will I be forced to accept concepts if they go against my personal beliefs/values?
You are absolutely free to accept or not. However, we do encourage that participants explore concepts and ideas, and discern based on what resonates with your heart, rather than the mind.
Is it alright if friends or family are in the same group?
Yes. In fact, it is most beneficial to relationships when you’ll take the course together.
